Download YouTube Video

I have been wishing to download some videos from Utube that I up loaded some years ago.

So I could edit them into a short film.

I used two approaches both of which worked well enough for me to share the idea with you.

First one being MPEG Streamclip.

Second one using browser Safari to download direct to my hard drive.

I also wished to convert the DVD Pal 720 by 576 from the video on the left in the screen grab.

Into a 1280 by 720 this I did using "MPEG Streamclip a free program www.squared5.com

This FREE program works on PC and MACS as well as power PC Macs.
